Police report lodged against Malaysiakini
Dec 8, 07 1:55pm A police report has been lodged against Malaysiakini and two Tamil newspapers claiming that they falsely reported news about the termination of two Minnal FM radio deejays for their involvement in the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) rally on Nov 25.
According to Bernama, the report was lodged by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) director-general of broadcasting Abdul Rahman Hamid at the Brickfields’ police station at 9.16pm on Thurday.
Tamil dailies Malaysian Nanban and Makkal Osai are also mentioned in the report.
The news reports, appearing on Dec 3 and Dec 4, also highlighted the suspension of five other employees of the RTM Tamil radio channel.
RTM has slammed these reports as untrue and defamatory, according to Bernama.
I don’t listen to Minnal Fm radio but it has been made clear that it is not because of Hindraf that these 2 presenter of Minnal FM radio V Jamuna and S Dhayalan being terminated and the Information Minister Zainuddin Maidin previously had said that the contracts of the presenters is not being renewed due to their discipline problems and being not a good performers besides they had disobeyed orders and breached the work rules and guidelines.. Hmm.. These presenters were not very good at carrying out the orders put by the Bosses is what seems to be the reason of their dismissal is it? So always listen to what your boss said la then everything sure ok one! You must learn to be someone who can say “yes Boss”, “OK Boss” and “Correct! Correct! Correct! Boss” at any time…
